About us
MarketAid facilitates relationships between smaller charities and senior marketing professionals who donate their time and skills in strategic marketing issues on a pro bono basis.
Marketing professionals mentor or advise chief executives of charities with turnovers between £0 to £5million.
MarketAid's key objectives are:
- To help charities deliver their core objectives through strategic marketing
- To leverage first-rate professional marketing skills into the charitable sector
- To provide relevant volunteering opportunities for marketing professionals to realise the value of their skills and energy for the benefit of the not-for-profit sector
- To create opportunities for companies to respond to increasing demands to invest in society through corporate social responsibility (CSR)
- To promote the principles of strategic marketing within the charitable sector to the benefit of all stakeholders, including the partner charity, the charity's beneficiaries and the marketers
MarketAid has a relationship with Acevo (Association of Chief Executives of Voluntary Organisations) and The Marketing Society from whose membership we primarily draw in facilitating partnerships.
